Design of the spatial concept
YEAR: 2005-2006
LOCATION: Helsinki, Kampin keskus
The project included the design of fixtures and furnitures and lights for cafeteria.
All the parts of furnishing were custom made according to the concept which one of the leading thoughts was facile usability of laptop computers.
The big challenge was the adaptation of cafe interior to the multicoloured shopping centre environment.
During the project one of the most important issues was the tight co-operation with architect office Juhani Pallasmaa who was responsible of the architecture of the whole building.
