The History in brief

Poiat architecture and design office is a collaboration of three young designers Antti Rouhunkoski Timo Mikkonen and Marco Rodriguez. After meeting in University of Arts and design of Helsinki - part of Aalto University today - the paths of the boys diverged for fer years and each of went working to their own direction. After joining in several projects Timo and Antti founded the office in year 2010. Marco joined the group when moving to Finland from Madrid where he was working for few years.

The Praxis

The offices principle practices are small scale architecture and product and concept design. In addition of that we also serve consultancy for companies in terms of design. Our clients vary from companies to private persons and contracts can include the design of retail concept or complete plan for single family house as well.

Our goal is always to construct the ideas based on the values that we consider as the most essential for good design. According to that we are aware of importance of sketching and rough plans the facet where the foundation of each project is laid. In our work we always aim to the high level of quality which includes features like sustainability and long lasting aesthetics.

In future our office wants to be involved into the various kinds of projects from field of architecture, art and design. We believe that the best ideas are created through the team work and in commerce of talented individuals and different professions.
